# How do I install the Densy Product Clipper?

The Densy Product Clipper is a free Chrome extension. Click it on a product's page in any shop and it reads the name, price, photo and details, then saves the product into a room or your products library.

It works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers such as Edge, Brave and Arc, not in Firefox.

## Install it

1. In Densy, click your profile picture or initials in the top right.
2. Choose **Get Densy Product Clipper**.
3. Click **Add to Chrome**, then **Add extension**. Chrome asks for access to the sites you visit: the clipper needs it to read product pages.
4. In Chrome's toolbar, click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece) and pin Densy Product Clipper, so its icon stays in the toolbar.

## Sign in

1. Open any product page and click the clipper's icon. A panel opens on the right of the page.
2. Click **Sign In** and sign in to Densy in the tab that opens.
3. Go back to the shop's tab. If the panel still asks you to sign in, close and reopen it.

## Save a product

1. Open the product's page and click the clipper's icon.
2. Check what the clipper filled in. To take a different value or photo, click the field's button or the photo area, then click the text or picture on the page.
3. Pick where it goes: a project with its room and section, or your products library and a collection. If you're in more than one workspace, pick the workspace first.
4. Click **Create product**.

After saving, you can still fix the product with **Update product**. For the next one, open its page or choose **Add new product** in the last list. The clipper remembers where you saved last.

The price is saved as the page shows it, without conversion. Check it when the shop sells in a different currency from your project.

In a team, the clipper doesn't work yet for people with the Project member role.
