Linen and late oak
A small Prague living room that keeps the afternoon.
The room faces west, so everything is chosen for the last two hours of light. The herringbone oak stays bare, a jute rug softens the middle, and the linen sofa is slipcovered so it can live with a dog.
Walnut on the long wall holds records and the everyday clutter. A leather pouf is the only warm dark note, and one black lamp draws a line against the plaster.
